Computer Lab

The Computer drome is the heart of any technical institute and has to be equipped with the best and updated technology available in the market so that students can have hand-on-experience on the state-of-the-art systems. Keeping in tune with this idea, IMR possess an excellent infrastructure for making students proficient in software and hardware skills using the latest software development tools and technologies.

The institute has the following hardware and software configuration:

  • An IBM Server that supports a heterogeneous network configured with Windows NT, LINUX and Windows95/98/2000 operating systems.
  • An HP Server that supports heterogeneous network configured with Windows95/98/2000 Operating Systems.
  • The present network has 181 workstations concicts of IBM Netvista Machines and HP Brio Machines.
  • Apart from this, the computer drome has advanced hardware labs for the practical of Logic Gates, Adders, Counters, Registers and other Digital Circuits.

A great deal of endeavor it takes to maintain the pace with the ever changing world of IT. For this, the laboratories offer a diverse range of software packages for academics, research and development in the areas of programming, language compilers, database systems, word processing, accounting, graphics and information systems. The computer center uses only licensed software for conducting post-graduate and under-graduate courses.
