Welcome to the world of IMR
Ghaziabad Extra Curriculars!
Whether to term these
activities as extracurricular or not is highly debatable as they now form an
integral feature of life here. With associations as diverse as a Marketing Club
to Kweej Club to Placement Committee, we have it all. As we guide you through
extracurriculars, it will become evident to one and all that IMR Ghaziabad is a
world more than academics.
The various associations
have set the perfect backdrop to ExtraIMR on campus. Included below is a brief
insight into some of our clubs & committees.

| Marketing
Club
Marketing Club organised
Marketing Mania, an exercise designed for the benefit of the marketing student.
It's aim is to give the student an opportunity to convert classroom learning
into on-hand experience of dealing with day-to-day practical marketing
situations. Each group of students are given a product, which they have to
promote for a period of around one week within the campus. In the first phase,
the product has to be promoted with tools like posters, danglers, road shows
etc. In the second phase each team has to give an informal presentation about
their product. The team had to decide the brand name, promotion mix and
marketing strategy. A panel of judges have evaluated all the teams for both the
phases on parameters like creativity, conceptual clarity, presentation,
attractiveness and enthusiasm.
Some of the products
promoted were Cellular Service, FM Radio, Comics, Shopping Mall, Business
School, Retail Banking and Conservation of Environment.
